Walk the Walk,
Sometimes we get so caught up in the stuff we are doing, that we are so focused on one aspect of our lives that we just walk the walk and don’t even stop to rest, enjoy or celebrate what has gone by. Someone who is walking along the edge of the water could easily continue along straight and not even bother to look to the left of the right. Now sometimes granted, we should be keeping our eyes fixed on the road ahead and not looking to the left or the right. But I am not talking about getting caught up in the mess to the side, or taking a detour that will take you off course, from where you are meant to be heading. I am talking about making sure that you are not so fixed on just one aspect of your life, that you miss everything else. Don’t be someone who is so caught up in work, that you don’t have time to even listen to the love of your life tell you about their day. Do you really find it so boring, that you can’t even take a few minutes, to show them you care? Maybe it is time to walk the walk, to walk out on the pier and enjoy the cool breeze in your face, the sound of your child’s excitement as the exclaim look a bird or the touch of your spouse as you hold hands and remember that you love them.
