The Excitement of The Unknown,
Some will look at this picture and they will be in awe of the beauty of the big old building and they may be taken back in time and get to wondering what the “good ol’ days” where like in there, while others might get to wondering what takes place in there now and be excited by the idea of an adventure to discover what will be seen beyond those big doors, while another may look at the picture and only see a hole in the ground and think how terrible that is, what a disaster, and how tragically it could all end. Sure all these elements are in the picture, but maybe not all of them may be helpful ways of looking at things. Sure we need to face the facts and be aware of what is around us and yes we do need to take into consideration what has gone before, but we are not called to live in the past and nor are we told to worry about the future, instead we are to live each day to the fullest, learn from what went before, plan for what will go ahead and live in the moment. What will you do? Who will you be? Will you be someone who is stuck in the past or will be you be someone who is living in fear of tomorrow, or will you be someone who is living in expectant hope for today and the future.
