Love. Its a word we throw around for so many uses. We love our dinner, we love our dog, we love that hat we just cant live without and then we love our children, our parents and our spouses. I would think it would be a fair assumption to say that for most of us all those things are not quite the same. The English language doesn't quite do the word justice. But anyway, that's not what i'm writing about today. I was walking along the river the other day and saw this sunset, it was so stunning and really the photo doesn't do it justice. At the time i was thinking about the beauty of it and about the saying that "red in the evening is a shepherds delight", but writing this now, I am challenged by the thought that sometimes things may be said and we may get hurt by them and we may even look back on a situation and not see it the same as it actually was.
But what if we were to look at things with a different perspective? What if we looked at things not with the intention to blame or to see what it wasn't, but instead to look at what was with the beauty and expectation of a better tomorrow, because when we can use yesterdays hurts and today's mistakes, as learning for tomorrows challenges, then maybe just maybe the way we live will be a whole lot different. What if we took the tools of yesterday and used them to create the future we dream of? What if our focus was on the beauty, on what we have and on what the future holds, rather than on what we don't have and what we wish we had done or said differently. You can't change yesterday or even what's gone of today, but you can create your tomorrow. #future #goals #training #kingdominnovation #counselling #sunset #beauty #pastandfuture #present #choices #love #delight #words #growth #learn #youcanchangeyourfuture #geelong
