Are you living in the light or in the darkness? When we live in the light it means that all that stuff that was hidden gets exposed. Yes sometimes that is unpleasant and painful, but if stuff stays in the dark it grows bigger, gets mouldy and eventually causes more damage.
Are there areas of your life that need to be brought into the light? I'm not talking about telling the world about your problems, sure some of you may be called to share your testimony, but a wound is not a testimony until it is no longer a wound, but instead it is now a scar. So I am talking about bringing the hurts and stuff into the light so it can be dealt with and can hopefully over time go from being a wound to a healed scar and thus a testimony. This may be something that is just between you and God or it may be something that you share with a close friend or family member or it may even be something that you choose to explore with a counsellor or other health professional. Admitting that you have stuff that needs to be dealt with is not a sign of weakness, but of courage. Be courageous and face the though stuff, in a safe and loving environment, allowing the light to shine on it and healing to come to the wound over time, so that you can continue to grow. #courage #facethefears #testimony #growth #counselling #inspiredandequipped If you need help working through any issues past or present, because sometimes bigger issues are best dealt with the assistance of a professional.
