Gifts. We all give them to people we love, some of us give them to people we tolerate, and few, if any of us give them to people we hate. What if our act of generosity, was the very thing that would break down a wall of hostility today, that may have been there for years? What if the very act of giving, whether in time or deed, was the very thing that softened someone's heart?
When was the last time you gave? This gift in the photo was a gift that was given by a dear friend of mine. It was her birthday, but on her birthday she chose to give all of her friends a gift. Her heart for generosity is amazing. Receiving this also challenged me on the idea about how we receive gifts. Because if we are going to be good givers, we also need to be able to receive well too. You can give, if you haven't first received. What's your heart like when it comes to receiving? This year, break of mindsets that would hold you back. Because it is good to receive, just as it is good to give. Sometimes we can live with the idea, that we owe someone, if they do such and such. Or we think that we are indebted to someone because their gift was bigger than ours at Christmas. This year make a decision not to let someone else's generosity steal your joy of receiving. #gifts #giving #receiving #blessed #mindsets #changedthinking #newthinking #breakoldmindsets #kingdominnovation #geelongbusiness #change #growth
