So I was up in Melbourne the other day walking along the river near flinders street station. There I saw a massive wall which has many nations listed on it and names of people who have come out (I believe) written on them, anyway one of them just says vision on it. It had been shattered, by something. It got me thinking.
Some of us may feel as though our vision has been shattered. Our vision for now and our vision for the future. We may feel as though we are looking through a glass lens, not unlike this picture, that is so "crazy" that we cannot even really see what is ahead. You may even feel like you are so broken, that if one more thing happens, or if someone even just touches you, that you will fall apart into a million pieces. But the thing is, as bad as this picture may look, there was actually only just one small injury to it. There was a small section, smaller than the size of your thumb nail, where something had impacted on the glass. Yes the effect seemed massive, as the sheet of glass had gone "crazy", but the thing is that even though from outward appearances it seemed to be all falling apart, it was actually really strong and held together by an other layer of glass on either side. When the glass was touched, it was solid and smooth, there was just one small round spot with a few marks going out from it that were rough, the rest was held together well. So I want to suggest to you, that you ponder on this thought. Your dream, for your life; for your future, may seem as though it is shattered and as though it is falling apart, but instead maybe it is a chance to see things from a different point of view. Why not look at it like this glass, its not broken, it is actually reflecting the beautiful lights around it. All the other unbroken glass looked dull and boring, but this one, that had faced a challenge was actually sparkling. Maybe your vision is not dead, maybe it is not broken, maybe it is not lost, maybe it is being refined and maybe you are seeing it in a different light. Don't let go of your vision, see it a fresh and let the light shine on it, for you were made to shine. #Sparkling #shining #shine #shineyourlight #brokenbutshining #notbroken #notshattered #newperspective #vision #newvision #light #melbourne #counselling #growth #2019 #kingdominnovation
